Event Safety I
This course will be available from November, 2015. Are you interested in taking this course,? If so, please sign up for more information (non-binding).
This is an introductory course aimed at people that work with events. Besides being aimed at raising competence, the course also intends to serve as a forum where organizers, authorities and safety management can meet, discuss and analyze event safety.
One of the potential applications for the course is for municipalities planning new events. In such cases, the municipality (or police service, fire brigade, organizer etc.) can invite all relevant entities to attend the course. The course can then provide both a consensus of opinion, common terminology and an opportunity to discuss the conditions and concerns of each entity.
The course is aimed at organizers, authority representatives and safety management personnel.
The course is held over two days with no preparatory work and an optional graded assignment. The course is either academic or commercial in format. In the academic version, if the graded assignment is submitted the course amounts to 1 ECTS credit.
