Event Safety II
Event Safety II builds on from Event Safety I, but approaches the subject from a theoretical, academic perspective. The main aim of the course is for participants to not only understand how to promote safety within events (Event Safety I) but also why these procedures, theories and principles work in practice. This is achieved by teaching theory in a classroom setting and guiding the participants to apply this knowledge to theoretical cases, to previously known cases, and practically in the form of a field trip.
The course is aimed at ndividuals already working in the industry (or within adjacent authorities or organizations) as well as those wanting to enter the industry, for example students at bachelor level.
The course is academic in format and amounts to 7 ECTS credits. The course runs over a 3,.5 month period. During this period there are three physical meetings and six assignments with individual work in-between.
